ABOUT MONTAGE 2019
Montage is an annual nation-wide photography competition organized by The Photographic Society of NUS that aims to celebrate and promote photography among youths. This year, as we celebrate Montage’s 21st Anniversary since its commencement, we hope that you will have a meaningful experience with us as we bring to life Our National Identity through the art of photography.
OUR NATIONAL IDENTITY
This year’s theme, Our National Identity, aims to challenge everyone to showcase what Our National Identity means to you.
Be it through Singapore’s beautiful architecture or through our unique culture and heritage as Singaporeans.
From Singapore’s classic icons such as the Marina Bay Sands to eco-city developments such as MacRitchie Resevior Park or simply embracing the community spirit as people from all races band together in a simple game of badminton at your nearby community center, we want YOU to tell us what Our National Identity is, as Singaporeans.
Our hashtag this year: #MadeInSG aims to illustrate what makes Singaporeans so special.
So, we challenge YOU, to show us what Our National Identity is as Singaporeans. The Montage 2019 Competition starts from the 6th of May till 21st of June 2019.
There are 2 categories this year, Youth and Open with the relevant hashtags #MadeInSGYouth and #MadeInSGOpen
The criteria are as stated below and participants must be within the age ranges specified. Those who fall within the age of 13 to 25 as of 2019 may participate in both categories. However, those who are above 25 as of 2019 can only participate in the Open category.

Our society is actively involved in connecting like-minded individuals with a passion for photography to meet and pursue photography together. Throughout the semesters, we plan, host and organise many courses, workshops, photo walks as well as competitions to keep our members engaged.
